If life gave you lemons, would you make lemonade? Or would you be like me, and throw them away? Why try to fit in when you can be original? There is a reason we are called individuals. I was raised by what we call a pioneer. She liked to be diverse; to run with the deer. We would sleep in tents.. stay warm by fire She didn't like TV, she felt it was a liar. She taught me to rejoice, and be proud to live. The only thing she really loved to do is give. I was bullied a lot, called a rejection. But when I went home, she gave me affection. She loved to love, and loved to live. She didn't love to hate, and hate to give. She told me stop asking, and continue to search But stop searching for the answer. thats a lot of research She never cared about technology, or the wealth. She didn't really even care too much about her health. She liked to be independent; stay out of the way. And one day cancer found her; death came to play. I was devastated, heart broken, lost for words. She's not only with deer, she's flying with the birds. I thank her for teaching me to stay strong I now know that life isn't very long. She was a brave adventurer, a symbol of selfless humanity. And I thank her for leading me away from insanity. When I look up at the sky, I see her smiling down I tell her I love her, and i'll see her around I feel her in my heart, telling me to keep going As long as I search for something worth knowing.
